Well, I am Chandra! I love to crochet! I taught myself to crochet about 2 years ago. Over the last 2 years, I have grown and learned many fun stitches and ways to make the things I make unique. I may start out with a pattern but I end up changing this thing or that. My husband says this is what I do with recipe’s that I make for dinner as well. That is another hobby of mine.
I am a stay at home mom of 4 kids- which I refer to as my crazies. I also am one of those crazy homeschooling Mom’s. I enjoy hanging out with my family and crocheting while we live life. My husband is a pastor of a small church in NorthEastern Kansas. It really is a blessing and what we new that God would have us do. We have fallen in love with small town America and the ease of living and lack of stresses that are found here. It’s a getting back to grass roots… maybe?
I grew up in Southern California! Life is so different here! I love it- not to say that there are not things about “SoCal” that I miss. OH!!! I miss the ocean! I miss doing the twist and sinking my feet down into sand while the waves break on the shore! There is nothing like that feeling! I’ve tried to find a replacement. Last year we went to Wisconsin, which is where my hubs is from, and playing in Lake Michigan was ALMOST there…. almost.
As you can see, I am flighty. I flit and fly from one idea to another. I keep coming back to crochet. It really is a great hobby. If you are interested in it, check out http://www.craftyminx.com/2011/11/crochet-school-.html This is what I used to learn and just went from there! She was easy to follow and fun to listen to.
I hope you enjoy my craftiness and that we can become friends. I hope that you will find my things reasonably priced and that they are things that you would like. I understand that some may not like the pricing. I am totally aware of that. I try to keep the prices as reasonable as possible while at the same time making some extra mullah for, well… Christmas is only 3 months away! That is a post of a different color… green and red?
